The application of the industry for obtaining varied consent under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 has been scrutinized and following observations have been made:-
1) The industry in its CA certificate dated 12.05.2018 has mentioned the cost of Plant & Machinery as 845.95 lacs. However, in its current application form dated 31.05.2018 the industry has mentioned the cost of Plant & Machinery as 77.54 lacs only, which needs to be clarified.
2) The industry is required to submit the un-depreciated total cost of project after installing Concast Plant, so that requisite fee can be calculated.
3) The industry has mentioned its raw material as Concast Billets in hot stage. However, as per the project report submitted by the industry the raw material for Concast plant is molten metal.
4) The industry has mentioned the quantity of raw material as 135 MT. However, the industry is producing 120 MT of Steel ingots as per the consent granted to it.
5) The industry has wrongly mentioned its products as H.R Strips, TMT Bars, which are the final products after rolling.
As such you are requested to clarify the aforesaid observations within 02 days, so as to proceed further in the matter. Till then, the application submitted by the industry shall be treated as incomplete.
