While processing the application it has been observed that the industry was issued notice to issue directions u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended in 1987 was issued to the industry with an opportunity of personal hearing before the Chief Environmental Engineer, Ludhiana on 26.11.2025 postponed to 01.12.2025 vide letter no. 6349 dated 10.11.2025. The decisions of the personal hearing were conveyed to the industry vide letter no. 7118 dated 11.12.2025. One of the decisions of the hearing was that the industry shall, within 07 days, shall submit a bank guarantee of Rs. 1 lakh as an assurance to comply with the above decisions. As per the record of this industry has not summited any fresh bank guarantee as per the decision of the hearing. Therefore, a clarification is being raised to submit the status of the same within 02 days so that application can be processed further. |
