The industry is a small scale induction furnace unit under Orange category. The industry was granted fresh 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/LDHKH/2019/9762987 dated 27/05/2019 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDHKH/2019/11417879 dated 02/12/2019 valid upto 30/09/2022 for manufacturing of Steel Ingots @ 82 MTD with following special conditions: 1. The industry shall provide stabilized its vehicular movement area, within fifteen days.] 2. The industry shall develop Green belt over an area equivalent to 33% of the plant area in accordance with condition of the EC issued to it under the EIA notification dated 14/09/2006, within 6 months. 3. The industry shall complete the installation work of manual Ambient Air Quality monitoring stations within and outside the plant (at least at four locations one within and three outside the plant area at an angle of 120° each), covering upwind and downwind directions, within 03 months. 4. The industry shall complete the work of rainwater harvesting system at pond in Salana (Dula Singh Wala), Mandi Gobindgarh, within 02 months. 5. The industry shall comply with all the conditions on which it was granted environmental clearance by Ministry of Environment & Forests under EIA notification dated 14/9/2006.
