The application of the industry scrutinized and observed that earlier the industry was granted CTO under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for dyeing of Polyester/ Acrylic Yarn @ 2.2 MTPD, dyeing of Polyester/ Fabrics @ 11 MTPD with discharge of trade effluent @ 200 KLD into sewer after ETP & 200 KLD re-circulation after ETP & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD into sewer.
Now, the industry has applied renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for dyeing of Polyester/ Acrylic Yarn @ 2.2 MTPD, dyeing of Polyester/ Fabrics @ 11 MTPD with discharge of trade effluent @ 408 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD & 200 KLD recirculation & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD into sewer.
Therefore, you are requested to submit technical feasibility report of recirculation system & the detail of water consumption / effluent discharge based on capacity of machinery, liquor ratio, number of lots, number of working hours, number of baths, boiler blowdown, waste generated from DM plant / softener / RO plant, cooling water surplus, condensate recovery / waste, re-dyeing and any other effluent generation, within 02 days, positively.
