The Competent Authority has raised the observation as under:
1. It has been reported in the agenda and application that industry has a trade effluent@135 KLD. However, in note history RO has reported that 30-40KLD of effluent generation. It is to be clarified. There is possibility of cooling water blow down, boiler blow down and ash pond effluent from such units. Please comment. b).The trade effluent is used for the sprinkling on movement area and within and outside the premises through mobile tankers and partially for plantation area. Further, In agenda note and application, it has been mentioned that the ETP installed. It is to be clarified: i). Provide details of ETP for Trade effluent and its regular operation status. ii). Whether the trade effluent being discharged is within the prescribed limits to discharge onto land for plantation and Road Stabilization as per standards prescribed. iii). Whether these mode of disposal have been allowed by the Board in previous CTOs. 4. It has been reported that the industry is disposing boiler ash in low lying area. The industry has a big 30TPH boiler. It is to be clarified a). Whether the industry has submitted details where it is disposing off such a big haul of ash b Whether industry has worked out any plan to reuse this fly ash for brick making plant, Cement industry also or any other reuse / recycling techniques. 5.Two BGs were taken of Rs 7.5 Lacs each: a). What are the exact reasons for taking BG under Water Act and Air Act. b). Whether reasons for which these 02 separate BG were taken have completely addressed. c).Whether the protocol prescribed by the Board for return of BGs is fulfilled.
