The reply submitted by the industry is incomplete, as industry has not submitted the point of following points:-
1. The industry shall close soakage pit immediately and develop adequate plantation area for discharge of treated domestic effluent.
Clarification:- The pit was closed/cut-off from the factory and septic tanks were placed and plantation area for discharge was under process.
2. The industry shall submit within 02 days, the Bank Guarantee of Rs. 1.00 lac, as already imposed during hearing held on 15.05.2024.
Clarification:- We have contact the concern for bank with format of guarantee, which is pending at their end and hopefully will be done by this week.
3. Point-wise compliance of the decisions of personal hearing as mentioned above.
The industry was visited by the officers of the Board on 07.06.2024 and observed that :-
1. The soakage pit has not been closed permanently.
Clarificstion:- The soakage pit is closed now permanently.
2. The stack height of thermostat was in adequate.
Clarification:- As concerned official informed us to increase length of stack as per the norms. We have placed the order with fabricator for remaining length. Which we will done by this week.
The Prop. of the industry was requested during hearing to remove the above said observations and inform accordingly and also submit the Bank Gurantee of Rs. 1.0 lac in compliance to the decisions of personal hearing. You are, therefore, requested to attend the above said observations and submit the Bank Gurantee within 2 days.
Clarification:- All the points which were pending at our end are in noticed and will be implemented by this weekend.
- Plants are placed with previous closure of previous soakage.
- For Stack, last week itself we have order for remaining length. Only we are waiting for the part from fabricator and will be installed asap.
- Bank guarantee – Is pending from bank end. Also last three days banks were closed due to official holidays.
- Consent for Air and Water is applied last week with all relevant documents and fees.
