Point wise reply of observation
Observation 1:.Latest CA certificate
Reply: The latest granted CA certificate dated 13/06/2018 is enclosed as Annexure 1.
Observation 2:.Total area covered under plantation.
Reply: Project proponent has develop green belt in from of organized green for township and green area under individual plots, Group Housing & support Amenities in the project site as per the approved master plan. As on 30th April, 2018 approx. 8,385 Nos. of tree of different species have been planted, and 235,500 Nos. Shrubs & groundcover planted. As well Green belt under Karnal Technology has been developed. Under which approx. 3000 Nos. of tree (Eucalyptus spp.(P23 clonal Eucalyptus) has been done. In addition green area has developed as recreational green in other open space.
In this development approx. 33.84 acre (including organized & karnal technology plantation green) as a part of approve master plan green, & further to reduce air & noise pollution in the township in other open space available addition green area /raising green barriers, plantation of trees has developed as recreational about 50 acres as per the direction / guideline. The green belt development report is enclosed as Annexure 2.
Observation 3: Compliance report of Environmental Conditions.
Reply: The Six Monthly EC Compliance Report (under expansion) of Environmental Conditions October 2017- March 2018 is enclosed as Annexure 3.
Observation 4:. CSR activity report
Reply: The project proponent has been undertaking various developmental and social activities in the area around its project for the benefit of the rural people. In this endeavor, the following schemes have been implemented under the Corporate Social Responsibility
1) A dispensary at site to provide free medicine to the residents of nearby village;
The project proponent has open a free medical dispensary for the benefit of the villagers of the area. The dispensary has benefited the people adjoining villages of Devatwal, Birmi, Gahaur, Dakha, Eisewal etc.
2) Free medical camps for health checkup of residents if nearby villagers & free distribution of medicines to the patients;
The project proponent has organized Free Medical Camps including distribution of free medicines on periodically intervals for the villagers of Devatwal, Eisewal, Dakha, Gahaur and Birmi and adjoining areas. These camps involve specialists in the various field of Medicine, Orthopaedic, Eye, Gynaecology and skin etc. from the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) Ludhiana. The camp were held under the supervision from specialists from Mediway Hospital, Sankaran Eye Hospita, and Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
3) Improvement Work for water supply and sanitation in the village schools;
To provide provision of safe drinking water to the pupil, project proponent has undertaken Construction/Repair of water supply and sanitation works in Primary and High Schools in village Devatwal..
4) Widening, strengthening and Electrification of the village roads;
The village road leading from Ludhiana – Ferozepur Road up to the village Devatwal bus stand was widened to 16/18 ft carriage way by the company with the help of Punjab Mandi Board, which is the nodal agency for the construction of this road. With the widening of this road, the problem of water logging shall also be solved.
