Respected Sir,
It is submitted that we are having a yarn and fiber dyeing unit at Vill. Barmalipur on G.T. Road and we are using a Boiler 5TPH capacity for steam generation.
In context to the visit of Officers of the board on 27.10.2025 our submission is as under;
We are operating our Boiler with Rice Husk as fuel and we have applied for CTO (Varied) under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide Application ID 30419782 for agro based fuel / rice husk.
We are having multicyclone followed by bag filter as APCD and stack emission is well within permissible limits prescribed by the Board.
We have installed a separate Energy meter for APCD. Both APCD are having motors of the capacity 0.37 KW in the multicyclone and 0.75 KW in bag filter. (Log Book of the readings is attached herewith)
We have installed CCTV cameras for stack and fuel feeding monitoring and same is monitored at Security Room at main gate and also concerned officials of our mill are monitoring stack emission on the mobile. Further CCTV data is recorded in the hard disk and 30 days record is maintained.
We have installed an automatic fuel feeding and fan control system Effimax on the Boiler and same is fully operational.
We have provided a dedicated covered area for fuel ash with water sprinkler so that ash may be disposed in a scientific way without scattering. (Photos attached)
Sir, with the above submission we ensure the Board for complying all norms as prescribed by PPCB under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, request you to kindly grant us CTO Air with agro based fuel / rice husk.

While scrutinizing the application, it was observed as under:
1. Earlier, the project proponent has obtained renewal of consent to operate for Potato minitubers @10000000 Nmber/Year. However, now the project proponent has increased the production capacity of Potato Minituber Seed @36000000 Nmber/Year. Therefore, if there is increase the capacity of production, the project proponent needs to obtain varied consent to operate from the Board.
2. Earlier, the project proponent has obtained renewal of consent to operate for raw materials, i.e,

3. The project proponent has changed the water consumption details, which are as under:

4. In the application form, the project proponent has submitted the Total cost of the industry/project as Rs. 2710 Lacs. However, the project proponent has earlier obtained renewal of consent to operate for the Total cost of the industry/project as Rs. 2174 Lacs. The project proponent needs to clarify regarding the increase in the total cost of the industry/project.
5. In the application form, the project proponent has submitted the Total cost of the industry/project as Rs. 2710 Lacs. However, the project proponent has submitted a CA certificate of Rs. 48.03 lacs as on 31.03.2025. The project proponent needs to clarify regarding the same.
6. The project proponent needs to submit the compliance report of the project in the valid format.
Therefore, the project proponent needs to submit reply to the above-mentioned clarifications within 02 days. Until then, the application will be treated as incomplete.
